Fantasy Impact:
Alvarez had previously been one of the Braves' top position-player prospects in recent years, but he became expendable as a trade target. The Atlanta front used the young infielder to add even more depth to an already strong bullpen, adding southpaw Brent Suter in exchange for Alvarez.
