The Cubs have traded infield prospect Jefferson Rojas to the Mets in exchange for right-hander Clay Holmes and outfielder Tyrone Taylor. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Cubs added a pair of veterans for their playoff run, costing him the 21-year-old Rojas in return. Rojas has spent the entire 2026 season with Double-A Knoxville, hitting .270 with 15 home runs, 17 stolen bases, and an .800 OPS across 91 games.
