Miguel Vargas went 0-for-6 in Thursday’s 12-11 loss to the Red Sox with one walk, one stolen base, and two runs scored.

Vargas has heated back up at the plate, recording hits in eight of his last 12 contests. The infielder offers manager Will Venable one of the more impactful options in a streaky White Sox lineup, carrying an .812 OPS with 24 home runs, 67 RBI, 76 runs scored, and 12 stolen bases through 113 games.
