Nate Pearson nails down save as Royals top Cubs

Nate Pearson struck out two while allowing one hit and no walks over a scoreless frame to earn the save in a 6-3 win.
Fantasy Impact:
After Saturday's win, Pearson now has a 4.41 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with a 7.0 K/9 and two saves in 24 appearances. He was called upon with Steven Cruz working the eighth inning and Pearson delivered. He needed only 19 pitches to record two strikeouts and close out the game. It had been Cruz getting the save opportunities of late, but Pearson seems to be in the mix now.
