Carson Whisenhunt allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks while striking out two over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s 4-1 win over the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Whisenhunt has offered mixed results on the mound of late, allowing four earned runs or more in three of six contests. The left-hander remains another underwhelming option as part of a dismal Giants rotation for manager Tony Vitello, posting a 6.11 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with a 3-3 record and 7.1 K/9 ratio through six starts.
