Adrian Houser allowed two hits and one walk while striking out five over six innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Astros.

Houser continues a strong stretch on the mound of late, allowing one earned run or less in each of his last four trips to the mound. The right-hander remains another inconsistent arm in the Giants rotation for manager Tony Vitello, posting a 4.28 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with a 3-7 record and 6.1 K/9 ratio across 24 appearances.
