Framber Valdez allowed four earned runs on six hits and five walks while striking out three over 5 2/3 innings in Wednesday's loss to the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez continues an underwhelming stretch of late, allowing three runs or more in five of his last eight trips to the mound. The left-hander remains one of the more inconsistent arms in a revamped Tigers rotation for manager AJ Hinch after the trade deadline, posting a 4.26 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with a 7-8 record and 7.2 K/9 ratio across 24 starts.
