Parker Messick allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings in Thursday's 3-0 loss to the Tigers.

Messick took the loss in a game where Cleveland only managed four hits. After the defeat, he now owns a 2.59 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with a 9-7 record and 142 strikeouts across 24 starts. Messick's next start will be Wednesday against the Giants.
