Walbert Urena allowed two hits and two walks while striking out five over six scoreless innings in Thursday’s 7-0 win over the Rangers.

Urena continues a strong stretch of late, allowing one earned run or less in six of his last seven trips to the mound. The right-hander has offered manager Kurt Suzuki a reliable arm in a dismal Angels rotation late in the season, posting a 2.67 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with an 8-8 record and 8.6 K/9 ratio across 24 appearances.
