Kumar Rocker allowed three earned runs on four hits and five walks while striking out three over five innings in Friday’s loss to the Athletics.

Rocker has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in five of his last seven trips to the mound. The right-hander has struggled with inconsistent command for much of the season for manager Skip Schumaker, posting a 4.50 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with a 4-9 record and 8.2 K/9 ratio across 23 appearances.
