Gage Jump allowed three earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out one over 5 1/3 innings in Friday’s win over the Rangers.

Jump continues an underwhelming stretch on the mound, allowing three earned runs or more in six of his last nine contests. The left-hander remains another disappointing option in the Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 4.50 ERA and 1.45 WHIP with a 5-7 record and 9.8 K/9 ratio through 15 starts.
