Dylan Cease cruises through six in win over Mariners
by Chris Schommer | Blue Jays Correspondent |
Dylan Cease allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings in Friday's win over the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease continues an impressive stretch of late, striking out seven or more batters in each of his last 18 trips to the mound. The right-hander has rewarded manager John Schneider with one of the few dynamic arms as part of a disappointing Blue Jays rotation, carrying a 2.33 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with a 9-5 record and 13.0 K/9 ratio through 25 starts.
