Fantasy Impact:
Cabrera was designated for assignment by the Yankees earlier this week, and there was reason to believe another club would pounce on the opportunity to add him. The Reds did that with the 27-year-old utility man on Friday. Cabrera has spent this season mostly in the minors, but he has played in 305 MLB games for the Yankees dating back to 2022.
