Jon Singleton opened up his season with the Fresnk Grizzlies by going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
Jon Singleton was brought in by the Astros with hopes he would be the first baseman of the future. Well, that is looking less and less likely with every at-bat. While he still has a ton of home run potential he can't seem to make contact. Singleton is still worth holding on to in deep keeper leagues but other than that he isn't worth a roster spot especially with the emergence of Tyler White and A.J. Reed waiting for a call-up.
