Hector Olivera arrested on alleged assault charge

Braves 3B/OF Hector Olivera was arrested Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a woman at the team's hotel in Washington, D.C for their series against the Nationals. Major League Baseball placed Olivera on administrative leave. The Braves have recalled INF Daniel Castro from Triple-A Gwinnett. (Mark Bowman, MLB.com)

Olivera can be safely dropped if he hasn't already been even before this incident. This situation could be long and drawn out within the legal system and the youngster has also failed to perform on the field thus far. He was hitting .211 with one XBH and two RBI on the season.
