It has been a tough start to the season for Cody Anderson (6.75 ERA over 20 innings) after impressing during Spring Training to claim a rotation spot. The combination of Trevor Bauer pitching on Saturday and two off-days next week means that the Indians will not need a fifth-starter until May 7. As speculated by beat writer Jordan Bastian, Cleveland could option Anderson to Triple-A, give him a start to work on the required adjustments and then recall him to start against the Royals on May 7.
