Smith went 2-for-4 with two HR and four RBI in the Braves' 12-9 loss to the Pirates on Tuesday night.

Smith's two-HR game is surprising, considering he hit only two in 126 games in the minors last year. Owners and Braves' fan should be ecstatic to get this kind of power production from a player who resembles more Otis Nixon than Andruw Jones in centerfield. His major value comes in the stolen base department. The Braves face LHP Francisco Liriano on Wednesday night.
