George Springer keeps hit streak going Tuesday
by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Blue Jays Correspondent | Tue, Sep 27th 11:23pm EDT
Holding to right field during Tuesday evening's 8-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners, George Springer went 3-for-5 with a ground rule RBI double for a 6th inning rally and a pair of singles. He also tallied a fly out and a strikeout in the game. In spite of that, Springer has made a huge jump in his average up to .262 and OPS up to .820 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Springer has told reporters that he has made adjustments with his swing. These appear to be working extremely well for this late season surge he is on. Slashing .429/.467/.536 over the past 7 games has seen the return to form of a top 5 consensus ranked outfielder. Fantasy owners that have him need to keep starting George Springer going forward.
