Dylan Cease dominated, loses no-hitter in ninth Wednesday versus Giants

Blue Jays right-hander Dylan Cease pitched eight innings of shutout ball, allowing just one hit and three walks while striking out 11 in a win over the Giants on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
On a day where the Blue Jays exploded for 10 runs, Cease needed the bare minimum of offensive support. The new Jays ace took a no-hitter into the ninth inning, only to have Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos lead off the final frame with a base hit. Nonetheless, Cease struck out 11 for an AL-best 148 punchouts on the season, while throwing a season-high 118 pitches on the afternoon. The veteran will carry a tidy 2.56 ERA into the All-Star break.
