George Springer gets another homer Wednesday
by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Blue Jays Correspondent | Wed, Sep 28th 5:31pm EDT
Keeping to right field during Wednesday afternoon's 12-4 series loss to the Seattle Mariners, George Springer went 1-for-5 with his 29th home run on the year. That would be the only hit he would have in the game, as he also tallied a trio of ground outs and a strikeout. Springer holds firmly to a .262 average and .822 OPS on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Springer has been slashing .483/.516/.586 over the past 7 games. His change in approach is paying off for this top 5 consensus ranked outfielder. With the Astros on the verge of playoff elimination, fantasy owners may not be able to use George Springer for much longer this season. However, keep him very much in mind for 2017!
