Tony Kemp went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI in the A's 3-1 loss to the Rockies on Tuesday.
Kemp plated Jake Lamb with a sacrifice fly in the top of the second to put the A's on the board and doubled later in the game as well. The 28-year old is slashing .244/.365/.295 with no home runs and four RBI across 78 at-bats. He doesn't hold much fantasy value with his lack of pop and hitting at the bottom of Oakland's lineup.
Tony Kemp went 1-for-2 with a single and three walks in Oakland's 13-inning victory on Friday night.
Kemp has been getting more playing time as of late and is making the most of it. He's been a tough out as he currently leads the A's in batting average and on-base percentage with marks of .316 and .500, respectively. However, the second baseman has zero extra-base hits and has yet to record an RBI on the season, diminishing his fantasy value.
Tony Kemp went 2-for-3 with two singles in Tuesday's win against the Rangers.
This brings Kemp's batting average up to .231 on the year. He has been splitting time at second base with Chad Pinder, who has also struggled so far this season with an average of .188. Neither player should be in your lineup at this point, but this position battle could be one to keep an eye on in case of an emergency.
Tony Kemp went 0-for-2 with a walk, a run scored, and a stolen base in Friday’s loss to the Mariners.
Kemp has yet to record a hit in nine plate appearances this year and will continue to get some starts at second base. Kemp is a .230 career hitter with little power, he is not a fantasy option.
Tony Kemp went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Cardinals.
Kemp's home run gave the Cubs a brief lead in the seventh inning. Since joining the team, Kemp is batting .172, and his overall numbers aren't impressive.
