Tony Kemp announces retirement from MLB

Fantasy Impact:
Kemp was most recently released by the Reds last year. He played four seasons with both the Astros and Athletics. Kemp made the announcement on Instagram where he started the post with: "Thank you God, for allowing me to be a Major League Baseball player. After 12 years of professional baseball and 9 season in the Big Leagues, I've decided to hang up the spikes." His best season came in 2021 with the Athletics when he hit .279 with eight home runs and 37 RBI.
