Chas McCormick collected three of the season-high 25 hits for Houston in a 21-5 win over the White Sox Thursday. He finished 3-for-5 with a home run, five RBI and two runs scored.
It was McCormick's 12th home run on the season. The 27-year-old outfielder has been getting plenty of playing time lately, but has struggled to do much with it. He should be left in waivers in all but the deepest of leagues.

McCormick has had a disappointing season for the Astros this year. He's hitting just .236 with 11 home runs, but now that Jose Siri has been traded and Michael Brantley's timeline for a return is unknown, he should continue to see everyday at-bats in Houston's fantastic lineup.

McCormick is sitting for the second straight game with no injury reason provided. It appears Houston is continuing to use a committee in Michael Brantley’s absence. Fantasy managers may want to find another option if McCormick’s playing time continues to diminish.
