Dallas Keuchel coughs up four runs

Chicago White Sox left-hander Dallas Keuchel allowed four runs over 3 2/3 innings of work against the Giants on Saturday. Keuchel struck out three and walked one in the start.

Fantasy Impact

Keuchel has allowed five runs over 7 2/3 innings of work in Cactus League action. The White Sox are counting on him to hold down the No. 2 spot in the rotation but his fantasy upside is limited.

Dallas Keuchel allows one run

Chicago White Sox left-hander Dallas Keuchel allowed one run over four innings in a 3-1 loss to the Padres on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

Keuchel struck out one and scattered six hits in the game. The veteran southpaw signed a three-year contract with Chicago this offseason and will help bolster the rotation behind Lucas Giolito.

Dallas Keuchel agrees to deal with White Sox

Dallas Keuchel and the White Sox have come to an agreement. Terms of the agreement are not official yet, but sources say the deal is in three-year, $54M to $56M range.

Fantasy Impact

Keuchel finished 2019 with a 3.75 ERA and 1.37 WHIP. Those numbers combined with his 4.06 xFIP and 4.39 SIERA puts him in the middle-to-low tier starting fantasy pitchers at best for 2020. With a low K/9 rate and his new sub .500 team, he won't offer much to fantasy owners besides a sub 4.00 ERA.

Dallas Keuchel drawing interest from Cubs and White Sox

Bruce Levine of 670 The Score reports that both the Cubs and White Sox have shown interest in Dallas Keuchel.

Fantasy Impact

Keuchel posted a 3.75 ERA in 19 starts with the Braves this past season. Both Chicago teams need pitching and the lefty would be a nice veteran addition to either rotation.

Dallas Keuchel allows five runs in loss to Phillies Tuesday

Braves starter Dallas Keuchel allowed five earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies.

Fantasy Impact

Keuchel snapped a streak of six consecutive quality starts on Tuesday, and he had his ERA down to 3.35 heading into yesterday. He will now take a 3.63 into his next start on Sunday against the Giants as he tries to deliver a better performance for fantasy owners in his second start of the week.
