Dallas Keuchel took the loss on Wednesday when he allowed five runs (three earned) on six hits with four strikeouts and no walks in the White Sox 5-3 loss to the A's in Game 2.
Things got off to a rough start in the bottom of the first inning as Keuchel gave up three singles, which led to two unearned runs as Nick Madrigal committed an error on a Matt Olson ground ball. The move is being made retroactive to September 7th. The 32-year-old southpaw made an early exit from Sunday's start and will have to miss at least one turn in the rotation.
