The Yankees signed 3B Matt Duffy to a minor-league contract.
Duffy was released by the Rangers during the shutdown and latches onto the Yankees on a minor-league deal. He slashed .252/.343/.327 with one homer, 12 RBI and 12 runs scored across 169 plate appearances for the Rays in 2019. Duffy won’t provide fantasy value unless the Yankees are stricken with injuries in the infield.
