Ryan Pressly allowed one hit while striking out one across one scoreless inning to earn the save during Friday's 7-4 win over the Rays in Game 6 of the ALCS.
Pressly was used for the third consecutive day and recorded the final three outs on Friday to convert the save. With one runner on base, he got Mike Brosseau to ground into a double play to end the game. Pressly has been terrific this postseason, converting four saves to go along with a 2.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and eight strikeouts over seven 1/3 innings.

Pressly entered the contest in the eighth inning after Josh James exited early due to back tightness. He threw a total of 17 pitches and was able to record the final four outs of the game. The 31-year-old was credited with the win when Carlos Correa took Nick Anderson deep in the ninth inning to give the Astros the victory. Pressly has been dominant this postseason, converting three saves while owning a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and seven strikeouts over six 1/3 innings.

Pressly entered the ninth with a runner on first, but was able to record the final three outs to secure the save. He did make things interesting by yielding an RBI double (unearned) to Willy Adames in the ninth. It was his third save of the postseason. Pressly owns a 3.60 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and five strikeouts over five innings during the 2020 postseason.

Pressly gave up a leadoff single to Marcus Semien but got Tommy La Stella to fly out and Chad Pinder to ground into a double play to end the contest. He is now a perfect 2-for-2 in save opportunities this post season with a 0.00 ERA and 0.33 WHIP over three innings.
