Yamaguchi picked up his first major league win and is now 1-2 with a 4.26 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 14 strikeouts over 12 2/3 innings. The 33-year-old pitcher has been used in a middle and long relief role and does not have any fantasy value.

Yamaguchi worked as a starter as well as out of the bullpen when he pitched in Japan and the Blue Jays should take advantage of his versatility. The 33-year-old righty will not have fantasy value this year.

He'll be in the mix for a back-end rotation spot in Toronto. He could be interesting for fantasy purposes depending on his role, but he's more likely to start the season the fantasy waiver wire.
