Shun Yamaguchi signs with Blue Jays

Japanese right-hander Shun Yamaguchi has agreed to a one-year contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The deal is said to be for $3 million. Yamaguchi posted a 2.91 ERA and 1.159 WHIP with 188 strikeouts over 170 innings in 2019 for the Yomiuri Giants. He'll be in the mix for a back-end rotation spot in Toronto. He could be interesting for fantasy purposes depending on his role, but he's more likely to start the season the fantasy waiver wire.
