Yasmani Grandal batted 1-for-4 with a single and strikeout for two RBIs in the loss to Colorado.
Fantasy Impact
Despite just one hit, Grandal mustered up two RBIs to have another solid game. He is starting to look like the player the White Sox thought they were signing.
Yasmani Grandal batted 3-for-4 with three singles and one K in the win over Colorado.
Fantasy Impact
Grandal is playing some of his best ball of the year with three hits in two of his last three contests. If he can keep this up, he will certainly close the door on Reese McGuire and Seby Zavala.
Yasmani Grandal batted 3-for-4 with three singles and a strikeout for one RBI in the loss to Cleveland.
Fantasy Impact
Grandal finally made his prescience felt in this one. In just his second game back, he delivered his best game of the season. If Grandal can stay healthy, he could start making his way to the fantasy radar.
Yasmani Grandal batted 0-for-4 with two Ks and an RBI on a groundout in the loss to Cleveland.
Fantasy Impact
The veteran finally made his return to the lineup after not playing since June 11th. However, it was not a great outing for him and it would not a surprise to see the Sox pivot to Zavala or McGuire more often.
Yasmani Grandal has been placed on the 10-day IL with back spasms. The move is retroactive to June 12th.
Fantasy Impact
Grandal missed Sunday's game with a leg injury, but it is in fact back spasms that have put him on the shelf. He has struggled this season, hitting just .185 with just a .294 OBP and 2 HR in 2022. Maybe this time on the IL will help Grandal rest up if he really is dealing with multiple injuries. While the average was expected to be low, fantasy owners were certainly expecting more power and walks from the veteran backstop.
