Darin Ruf has been acquired by the Mets in exchange for JD Davis, Thomas Szapucki, Nick Zwack, and Carson Seymour.
Fantasy Impact
Ruf will provide an option for the Mets in the outfield and at first base. The 36-year-old is slashing .216/.328/.373 with 11 home runs, 38 RBIs, and two stolen bases this season. Ruf figures to slot into a platoon role in the Mets offense that should still provide solid fantasy production.
