Minnesota Twins pitcher Kenta Maeda said he has no restrictions and expects a normal spring training.
Fantasy Impact
This is certainly welcoming news after Maeda underwent Tommy John surgery late in the 2021 season, causing him to miss the entire 2022 campaign as a result. Maeda finished second in AL Cy Young voting in the shortened 2020 season before regressing to a 4.66 ERA across 21 starts in 2021 before undergoing the knife. Whether Maeda sees an innings restriction this season remains to be seen, but it appears he'll regain his spot in the Twins' rotation in 2023.
