Tyler Naquin will not make Brewers roster

Milwaukee Brewers non-roster invitee has been informed he will not make the club's Opening Day roster.

Naquin's career began with plenty of promise after he hit 14 homers with six steals and an .886 OPS across 116 games as a rookie in 2016. However, he hit just .229 with a .705 OPS across 105 games with the Reds and Mets last season. Nonetheless, the 31-year-old has solid pop with a career .183 isolated power and has produced a wRC+ at least 5 percent above the league average in two of the last four seasons. He has a decent shot at latching on with a new club this season.
