Ish Smith signs with the Wizards

Ish Smith agreed Monday with the Wizards on a two-year, $12 million contract (Shams Charania on Twitter)

With John Wall (Achilles) expected to miss most of the 2019-2020 season, and the Wizards trading Tomas Satoransky to Chicago, Ish Smith could end up opening the campaign as the Wizard's starting point guard. He spent most of last season in a timeshare with Reggie Jackson. Smith averaged 9.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in 56 games for the Pistons last season.
