Although healthy and a Rocket Nations Fan Favorite, Green was waived by the team. This most likely due to a combination of the team's wing depth and the $1.5 million guaranteed contract absorbed by the organization following the season-ending injury of Chris Clemons. In his last year with the Rockets, 2018-2019 season, Green averaged 20.2 minutes of playing time, 9.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.4 blocks while shooting 40.0 percent from the floor and 35.4 from beyond the arc. In the two years with the team, Green performed well and will look to continue his career either with the Rockets again down the line or with another club. Depending on his health and team situation, he could be worth keeping on your radar as a deep-flier for DFS tournament play.
