Jalen Suggs fills the stat sheet in win over the Hornets
by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Magic Correspondent | Mon, Nov 27th 8:24pm EST
Jalen Suggs totaled 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3PT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks in the Magic’s 130-117 win over the Hornets.
Fantasy Impact:
Suggs filled the stat sheet in the Magic’s win over the Hornets continuing to demonstrate his ability to produce value as a multi-categorical contributor. He has been a solid fantasy asset early this season and will look to improve on his early season success against the Wizards. The team has increased his time on the floor, which should’ve been a strong bet for his increased production; however, he hasn’t been able to translate his increase in opportunity to increased fantasy value just yet. If Suggs can increase his production, he could elevate his fantasy appeal from high-end streamer to must-roster asset. He has a usage rate of 19.5 percent, a plus-minus of 2.4, and is averaging 27.1 minutes, 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor and 36.2 percent from beyond the arc.
