James Harden plans to decline his $36.35 million player option and sign a two-year, $81.5 million contract to return to the Los Angeles Clippers. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Harden averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.5 steals while playing 35.3 minutes per game across 79 appearances. He will continue to be one of the Clippers’ top-scoring options.
