Wesley was acquired by the Wizards in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs on June 8, but the team has ultimately decided to waive the 22-year-old. He appeared in 58 games last season, averaging 3.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and two assists in 11.8 minutes per game. He’ll likely get another opportunity with an NBA team or in the G League.
