Curry will sign an Exhibit 9 deal that will allow him to remain with the Warriors throughout training camp. Due to cap restrictions, he would later need to be waived and then re-signed a month into the regular season when Golden State has the necessary flexibility. Having averaged 6.5 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting 45.6% from three in 68 games with the Charlotte Hornets last season, he is expected to provide the team with wing depth.
