Anthony Davis has been traded to the Washington Wizards along with Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell, and Dante Exum for Kris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, two firsts, and three second round picks. (Shams Charania via X)
Fantasy Impact:
It’s a massive deal and one that adds yet another layer of pain to Dallas fans who now see Anthony Davis effectively net them two first round picks and more while Luka Doncic snagged them a single pick. It brings Davis’ short tenure in Dallas to an end. When, or if, he returns to the court this year, he should be a decent fantasy asset leading the Wizards frontcourt.
