Eric Gordon waived by Grizzlies

Veteran Eric Gordon has been waived by the Memphis Grizzlies the team confirmed in a press release. Gordon was traded from Philadelphia to Memphis in a salary-dump move earlier in the week. (Grizzlies PR on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Gordon, an 18-year veteran in the NBA, appeared in only six games this season with the 76ers. He averaged 5.5 points in just over 12 minutes per game. The seventh overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, Gordon has played 931 career games with Los Angeles (Clippers), New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix, and Philadelphia. He has averaged 15.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists and currently ranks in the top 20 all-time in career three-pointers with 2,092. He has not been a regular for several seasons and, more than likely, will not draw much interest in the open market at this stage in his career.
