Eric Gordon signs four-year max extension

Eric Gordon has signed a four-year, $76 million max extension with the Houston Rockets, Shams Charania reports.

Fantasy Impact

The Rockets have decided to keep the band together and will bring back the core of James Harden, Clint Capela, and Gordon to team with new addition Russell Westbrook. An integral part of Houston’s aerial assault offense, Gordon averaged 16.2 points and 3.2 triples on 36.0 percent shooting from downtown last season. He’s a reliable source of threes and scoring for fantasy purposes and should continue to see quality looks this year.

Eric Gordon nails five treys against Kings

Eric Gordon put in 17 points, one rebound and one steal in 37 minutes of game action on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact

Gordon has been on fire from deep lately. The veteran has now drained 4+ triples in five of his last seven contests—and when he's hitting his threes, he's worth an add.

Eric Gordon drains four triples against Denver

Eric Gordon put in 18 points and one rebound in 27 minutes of game action on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Gordon bounced back nicely going 4-for-6 from deep against Denver after going 0-for-5 the previous time out. Gordon's got to keep shooting from deep to be worth it in fantasy though because he doesn't do much else for you.

Eric Gordon (ankle) will play Thursday versus Denver

Eric Gordon will play on Thursday versus the Denver Nuggets despite an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact

Gordon posted a goose egg on the scoreboard in the previous game so he's as risky a fantasy option as any on Thursday.

Eric Gordon (ankle) fails to score a point on Tuesday

Eric Gordon (ankle) was in the starting lineup on Tuesday but failed to score in 23 minutes, missing on all seven attempts.

Fantasy Impact

Gordon was feeling good enough to get the start but the ankle might have still been bothering him as he did not make a shot in last night's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Rockets play next on Thursday when they host the Denver Nuggets so Gordon has another day to rest and will hopefully be all systems go for a difficult matchup.
