Rockets SG Eric Gordon (groin strain) is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks as a result of an injury he suffered in Thursday night’s loss to the Kings.

Danuel House Jr. is also out Friday night. Guys like Kevin Porter Jr., Jae’Sean Tate, Kenyon Martin Jr., and Sterling Brown should see all the run they can handle against the Jazz.

Gordon's injury didn't look great as it appeared to be non-contact. The MRI results will be a good indicator of how much time he'll be forced to miss, though fantasy managers should be making other arrangements. In the short-term, Kevin Porter Jr.'s stock appears to be on the rise in light of Gordon's groin injury and should once again be given a large workload on Friday.
Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon has been listed as questionable with a knee injury for Thursday's game against the Kings.
This is the same knee injury that sidelined Gordon for the Rockets final game prior to the All-Star break. If he remains sidelined, it will likely lead to expanded roles for Ben McLemore and Sterling Brown. In the Rockets last game against Brooklyn where Gordon was sidelined, Brown registered the start but both he and McLemore saw at least 25 minutes of playing time.

Gordon has dealt with knee soreness off and on this season and the Rockets may be inclined to rest him on the second leg of a back-to-back Monday. If he were to miss the game, Jae'Sean Tate and David Nwaba would see extra minutes.
