Asa Newell started for the first time in his brief NBA career as he filled in for the injured Jalen Johnson. He scored two points, grabbed four rebounds, and had one assist in 25 minutes during Monday's loss to Minnesota.
Fantasy Impact:
Newell, who has played sparingly in his rookie season, was averaging just over 11 minutes per game in his first 37 contests before getting the start on Monday. He is averaging 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.5 assists this season and will return to the bench once Johnson is able to return to the lineup.
