Fox is now officially locked in as the Kings point guard of the future as he signed a max extension on Friday. Fox is a bonafide star and should be a top-10 point guard fantasy managers this season.
De'Aaron Fox (shoulder) will sit out Thursday's game against the Lakers.
Fox will miss his second consecutive game due to a shoulder injury. The Kings have been eliminated from the playoffs. Fox finishes the season averaging 21.1 points, 6.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks in 32.0 minutes per game. Corey Joseph will handle point guard duties in the final game of the Kings season.
Kings PG De’Aaron Fox (shoulder) won’t play Tuesday against the Pelicans.
Zion Williamson also won’t play in this game between two teams who have been eliminated from playoff contention. Cory Joseph has been starting but could see increased run in Fox’s absence. Bogdan Bogdanovic could also be asked to shoulder more of the load on offense.
De'Aaron Fox led the Kings in scoring with a team-high 26 points (9-17 FG, 1-6 3PT, 7-9 FG) along with dishing out nine assists, grabbing two rebounds and swiping two steals across 36 minutes in a 129-112 loss to the Rockets.
Fox has been one of the lone bright spots for the Kings in the bubble, ramping up his production in scoring and assists to 26.2 ppg and 7.3 assists compared to 20.1 ppg and 6.8 assists pre-bubble. Sacramento is on the verge of being eliminated from playoff contention, but Fox will have a good matchup against the Pelicans on Tuesday - who will be without Jrue Holiday, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. Fox should be considered a decent play in all DFS formats, with news of the Pelicans resting their franchise players.
De'Aaron Fox logged 21 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3PT, 5-7 FT), seven assists, two rebounds, and one steal over 32 minutes in Friday's 119-106 loss to the Nets.
Fox has been lights out in the bubble averaging 26.2 points, 7.0 assists, and 2.6 rebounds over the five game stretch. He's hoping to get the Kings into the playoffs and will have a chance to better their seeding in Sunday's must-win matchup against the Rockets.
