Prior to the Eagles secon minicamp practice on Wednesday, Chip Kelly spoke about Ryan Mathews' speed and size combination and the role he cam play for the team. Kelly noted that Mathews has been "used a little on kickoff return" during minicamp. While Kelly talked up Mathews, he noted that things could be different when the pads go on during camp.

When asked about his role in Philly, Mychal Kendricks said he wasn't sure he'd be on the roster by the start of the season.

As expected, the Eagles intend to divide the rushing workload between DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur revealed the plan on Wednesday, but declined to put a percentage on the way the workload would be divided.

According to Eagles beat reporter Jeff McLane, Sam Bradford participated in the first session of 7 on 7 drills during OTAs. It is important to note that McLane tweeted that Bradford did not participate in a later 7 on 7 session.

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, Sam Bradford has been limited at practice, only participating in individual drills. According Bradford and Coach Chip Kelly, Bradford's limited participation is part of his recovery plan. Kelly has stated that Bradford will increase his activity next week by participating in seven-on-seven drills.

In typical Jerry Jones fashion, the Cowboys owner and GM has declared that Dallas will have a better running game in 2015 because they have a better offensive line. Chip Kelly did not address the Eagles' offensive line needs; however, when healthy, the aging unit has performed well together.

According to second-year wide receiver Jordan Matthews, the Eagles' Offense doesn't require a true No. 1 wide receiver. Rather, Matthews believes the offense is based on putting multiple weapons on the field and creating mismatches.
