Fantasy Impact:
Another inside linebacker? The selection of Hicks brings the Eagles inside linebacker count to seven. At 6'1" and 236 lbs., Hicks has good size, and decent athleticism; however there are injury concerns. Coached by Charlie Strong (who also coached Marcus Smith II), Hicks has a high football IQ. In some circles, Hicks has drawn comparisons to current ILB Mychal Kendricks. While Hicks will help provide depth, he will likely have very little fantasy impact in Philadelphia, unless he can play special teams.
