Latest Injury News

Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby underwent knee surgery to clean up a knee injury he has been dealing with since Week 2. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Crosby spent most of the 2023 season with an injury to his bursa joint. Despite the knee injury, the 26-year-old registered 14.5 sacks in 17 games. The expectation is that Crosby will be ready for the start of the 2024 season.

Josh Jacobs (quad) will not play in Sunday's season finale.

Fantasy Impact: Jacobs will miss his fourth consecutive game this Sunday, which effectively ends his fifth NFL campaign. The two-time Pro Bowler has rushed for just over 800 yards at 3.5 per attempts over 13 games. Jacobs has added 296 yards on 37 receptions.

Michael Mayer was sidelined from practice on Wednesday. (Source: Paul Gutierrez on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Mayer was sidelined this past Monday. If he remains sidelined this week, Austin Hooper would again be in a bigger role but not one that makes him fantasy relevant.

Davante Adams (illness) is expected to play in Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Adams is officially listed as questionable to play thanks to an illness that he's recovering from, but it's being reported that he is expected to be able to play against the Chargers. An official decision will come closer to game time, but the star wideout's availability for the first round of the fantasy playoffs looks good and he will likely suit up on Thursday night.

Raiders CB Marcus Peters (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. (Source: Raiders on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Peters suffered a knee injury in Week 9 and was limited in practice last week, but did play in Week 10 against the Jets. The veteran corner has a good chance to suit up against the Dolphins Sunday as long as he continues to log at least limited practice time.

Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (back) was a full participant in practice Friday. (Source: Anthony Galaviz on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Garoppolo appears to be on track to return for Monday’s matchup with the Lions. It appears the 31-year-old will miss just one game after suffering a back injury against the Patriots in Week 6. Fantasy managers should treat the veteran as a QB2 this week.

Raiders K Daniel Carlson (groin) did not participate in practice Friday. (Source: Anthony Galaviz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Carlson has missed the last two days of practice and could miss Monday’s game against the Lions. Fantasy managers will want to ensure they have another option in the event Carlson does not log any practice time Saturday.

Jakobi Meyers (wrist) is good to go for Week 6 against the New England Patriots. (Source: Rachel Gossen)

Fantasy Impact: Meyers was added to the injury report earlier in the week because of a wrist injury, but it's a minor issue and he doesn't carry an injury designation heading into the weekend. He will play at full capacity and should continue to be a quality fantasy asset in Week 6 and beyond.

Aidan O'Connell is officially inactive for the Raiders Week 5 matchup against Green Bay. (Source: Las Vegas Raiders on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Check back shortly for the fantasy impact.

Kristian Wilkerson is officially inactive for the Raiders Week 5 matchup against Green Bay. (Source: Las Vegas Raiders on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Check back shortly for the fantasy impact.

Raiders DB Nate Hobbs is officially inactive for a Week 4 matchup with the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact: Hobbs is dealing with an ankle injury and has been ruled out, which is not a surprise considering he was limited in practice Friday. The Raiders will likely have Jakorian Bennett start as the fill in for Hobbs against the Chargers.

DeAndre Carter (knee) is considered questionable for the Raiders' Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos. (Source: Levi Damien on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Carter has been limited at practice all week because of a knee injury, and now his status for Sunday's game will be up in the air for the same reason. The team will make a decision about his availability closer to game time, and Marquez Callaway may get more work off the bench if Carter doesn't play in Week 1.

The Raiders put WR Isaiah Zuber on IR. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Zuber will start the season on IR for the Raiders and will look to get healthy in hopes to make an impact for the team later this season.

Fantasy Impact: The 25-year-old RB out of UCLA will now miss the 2023 season and will look to get healthy for 2024.

The Raiders put TE Jacob Hollister on IR. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The 29-year-old tallied 55 yards and one touchdown on nine receptions in seven games with Jacksonville last season. After being placed on IR, fantasy managers can leave Hollister off their rosters.

According to Tashan Reed of The Athletic, WR Phillip Dorsett II went down with an injury during practice Wednesday, though he attempted to run it off afterward. (Source: Tashan Reed on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Dorsett signed with the Raiders in March after spending 2022 with the Houston Texans. With the Texans, he started four games and played on 50% of the team's snaps due to injuries at the WR position. Dorsett signed with the Raiders to give WR depth and bring an element of speed, as even at the age of 30 he still can show off his 4.33 40-yard dash. He'll be fighting for a roster spot and rotational snaps, though, as Keelan Cole Sr. and rookie Tre Tucker can occupy a similar role for Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Raiders activated DE Tyree Wilson from the non-football injury list Wednesday. (Source: Around The NFL on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Wilson is now eligible to begin practicing with the team. The No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 draft suffered the foot injury while at Texas Tech and had surgery in November. Wilson will likely need a longer ramp up period as he did not participate in offseason activities.

Zamir White (ankle) was limited all week long and is officially listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game versus the 49ers. (Source: Raider Nation Radio)

Fantasy Impact: White has seen sporadic touches while operating as a backup, but his path to meaningful production will continue to be blocked as long as Josh Jacobs remains healthy. The rookie is nothing more than a solid dynasty stash.

Hunter Renfrow has been activated to the 53-man roster and is eligible to play on Sunday against the Patriots. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The same goes for Darren Waller as they were both activated from injured reserve earlier in the week. Renfrow is not a player fantasy managers should be relying on at this point in the season. His return does take Mack Hollins off the fantasy radar.

Darren Waller has been activated to the 53-man roster and is eligible to play on Sunday against the Patriots. (Source: Field Yates on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The same goes for Hunter Renfrow as they were both designated to return from injured reserve earlier in the week. It is super tough for fantasy managers to trust Waller in his first week back, especially when he was disappointing when he was even healthy.
