Atlanta Falcons dismiss DC Richard Smith, DL coach Bryan Cox

The Atlanta Falcons have dismissed DC Richard Smith as well as DL coach Bryan Cox. Rapoport is also reporting that Smith may stay on in an advisory role, but he's currently exploring his options. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Falcons certainly did not have the best defense in the NFL and it probably cost them a Super Bowl victory. However, the young and hungry defense did show significant signs of improvement later in the year and should only get better with more time under Dan Quinn. Falcons D/ST will be a force to reckon with next season and will be valuable in positive matchups as a streaming option.
