Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase said offensive guard Kraig Urbik will likely miss Week 1 due to a knee injury.
Urbik's status for a good portion of the season is now in question as he could be headed for surgery. Right tackle Ja'Wuan James has been dealing with a shoulder injury that has kept him out of practice for the majority of training camp, while center Mike Pouncey is also coming back from an injury. According to Pro Football Focus, Miami's offensive line was ranked 30th in run blocking in 2016 largely due to health issues, so it's not a good sign to see so many injuries before the start of the regular season. Ajayi will continue to be drafted as a high-risk/high-reward RB1.
