Matt Ryan leads Falcons to victory versus the Bears
by Nicholas Hopkins | Mon, Sep 11th 1:35pm EDT
Matt Ryan was solid on Sunday finishing with 21 completions on 30 pass attempts for 321 yards and one touchdown.
Fantasy Impact:
This was not the monster game everyone anticipated for Matty Ice as he went up against one of the league's weaker defenses in Chicago. Ryan did not throw any picks nor did he fumble but only threw 30 pass attempts. This may be reflective of the new play calling of OC Steve Sarkisian or it could simply be the game script they faced on Sunday. The Falcons averaged 33.56 pass attempts per game last season so fantasy owners will hope the number will increase next week as they host the Green Bay Packers in what should be a high-scoring affair.
