Falcons defense struggles to contain the Lions offense

Atlanta proved victorious on Sunday beating the Detroit Lions 30-26 in dramatic fashion.
Fantasy Impact:
"By rule the game is over." Words that will surely haunt the Lions this week as they lost the game on their final drive having the end zone well within reach. Matt Stafford found Golden Tate open and he appeared to score a touchdown but the play was reviewed and the call was reversed. A ten second runoff was declared ending the game. A tough way to lose in what was an awesome game. The Falcons' defense recorded 52 tackles and 2 sacks without netting an interception or fumble. The young defensive unit is playing well under the tutelage of Dan Quinn.
